Before our interns are placed at a host company, ECARE CAREERS provides exclusive practical training in software systems such as MYOB, SAP and Xero. This makes the transition in the initial stages of the internship easier for both the host company and the intern. It helps the intern focus on the important interpersonal skills and building relationships within the host organisation.

Accounting Internship 

Accounts Assistant

Learning Opportunity

• Processing Vendor invoices into the accounting system at job level.
• Processing EFT reports into the accounting system at job level.
• Raise debit invoices to customers
• Check Profit and Loss analysis per job for accuracy and correct Revenue accruals or cost accruals as required
• Updating Foreign Exchange rates
Bank reconciliations

Learning outcomes for the intern

Sales&Business Analyst

• Follow up on marketing campaigns;
• Ensuring ROI on marketing events and engagement
• Develop sales enablement collateral and material

Learning outcomes for the intern

• Setting up marketing campaigns, from conception to completion and developing ROI reports on campaigns
• Ability to develop and distribute compelling collateral to internal and external stake holders
• Learn the importance of, and demonstrate the ability to identify the metrics that form the part of an ROI for a marketing campaign.
• Exposure to a high paced Australian based SaaS organisation and staff that are in the top percentile of the market

Information Technology Internship 

Deskside Support Technician

Learning Opportunity

• Provide direct IT support to on site employees
• Use remote software tools to proactively monitor all devices and consumables
• Serve as liaison between the Service Provider and the client to coordinate service calls;
• Work in conjunction with other Technical support technicians
• Manage the service ticketing systems
• Provide Reporting as requested by management or the customer;

Learning Outcomes for the Intern

• Learning effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to maintain good relationships with clients;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and experience with working within Service Level Agreement boundaries;
• Familiar with configuring and troubleshooting of Office applications

Junior Accountant

Learning Opportunity:

• Completing annual financial accounts to review
• Individual, Company and Trust Tax Returns and BAS preparation
• Management of client accounting software including MYOB, Quickbooks, & Xero
